The Balkan Mixture is often regarded as an EM (English Mixture) due to the considerable amount of Latakia contained; therefore, just like the EM, it has different interpretations and recipes. The constant element is a strong presence of Oriental, Virginia and Latakia, often together with other varieties. We have interpreted this blend in such a way as to enhance the leading role played by the Oriental notes. This blend is the quintessence of Oriental, whose spicy flavours combine with the aromatic and smoky notes of Latakia and the sweet ones of Virginia in a perfectly balanced way. This aromatic blend is able to meet the tastes of the most demanding vapers, all day long. The perfect symphony of the aromas is rounded out and enriched by the barrique scents that enhance the taste of one of the most elaborate blends.

La Tabaccheria recommend a blend of between 5% and 10% Extract combined to make a 50/50 PG/VG mix depending on your individual taste, I can tell you that I have tried both ends of the scale and I believe a 7% mix is a very good starting point as these flavours are incredibly strong.
